Die Hard Trailer Anaysis

The trailer starts in a Christmas scene at a airport and the main character John McClane is a police officer and is coming home for Christmas to see his wife, Shortly after his return she is taken and becomes a hostage after terrorists take over the building that they are in. John is the only person in the building that isn't a hostage and sets out to save his wife and stop the terrorists on his own.

The Trailer contains a lot of quick cuts of gun fire, explosions and running which is in Action tradition. The humours lines said by John really makes the audience appeal to his character

John has the most screen time and his actor (Bruce Willis) is the only actor named in the trailer because he is a big star and makes people want to go and see a movie with him in it.
