Representation

Representation relates to the representation of reality in the media. It is very important to show what people are represented in the media and who and what get lefts out.

Stuart Hall, cultural theorist mentioned that

"The Media the power to represent the world in certain ways. And because there are so many diffrent and confliction way in which meaning about the world can be construction, it matters profoundly what and who get left out, and how things, people events and relationship are represented."

A very good example of reprsentation is this film by Leni Riefenstahl
It shows Hilter in a positive way as a powerful and good leader.
